About

Welcome to Turning Point Wellness Hub—a compassionate space where healing begins with feeling truly seen, heard, and understood.

Seeking therapy is a courageous first step, and you don't have to face life's challenges alone. With over 20 years of clinical experience, I help adults navigate trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, stress, ADHD, chronic pain, relationship difficulties, grief, life transitions, and cultural adjustment. I also have extensive experience supporting military members, Veterans, first responders, health care workers, and individuals recovering from workplace and motor vehicle injuries.

I believe therapy is not about "fixing" you. You are the expert on your life, and I see myself as your copilot, walking alongside you as we work toward your goals at a pace that feels safe and manageable. You know your life story better than anyone. My role is to walk beside you as a compassionate copilot—helping you understand your experiences, build on your strengths, and move toward the life you want."

Your story is unique, so I tailor therapy to your individual needs, values, culture, and strengths. I use evidence-based treatments, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and other trauma-informed approaches to help you process difficult experiences, reduce emotional distress, and build resilience.

Whether you're feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, carrying the weight of past trauma, struggling with chronic pain, or simply feeling stuck, therapy can provide a supportive space to gain clarity, heal, and move forward with confidence. Healing is possible, growth is achievable, and sometimes one conversation can become a turning point. I would be honoured to support you on your journey.

I offer a complimentary 20-minute phone consultation to help us connect, discuss your needs, and explore whether we would be a good fit to work together. Finding the right therapist is an important step, and I welcome the opportunity to answer your questions and help you make an informed choice.

Frequently asked questions

What's your approach in therapy?
I believe that every person has the capacity to heal and grow when they feel safe, understood, and supported. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. I draw on evidence-based therapies—including EMDR, CBT, ACT, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE) and DBT—to help you overcome challenges, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change. Together, we'll work at a pace that feels right for you while focusing on your strengths and goals.
Who do you typically work best with?
I work with adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, chronic pain, workplace stress, grief, and life transitions. I have extensive experience supporting veterans, first responders, healthcare professionals, and individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. If you're ready to better understand yourself, develop practical coping strategies, and create lasting change, I'd be honoured to support you on your journey.
Do you offer evening or weekend appointments?
I offer only evening and weekend appointments. As I work in another office as a full-time psychologist, I understand that busy schedules can make it difficult to access care. Don't hesitate to get in touch with me to discuss current availability and find a time that works best for you.
How quickly can I book a first appointment?
I strive to offer appointments as soon as possible, with availability often within one to two weeks. You are welcome to book a free 20-minute phone consultation within 1 day to see whether we are the right fit.
What does a first session with you look like?
Your first session is a relaxed, welcoming conversation where we get to know each other. We'll discuss what brought you to therapy, your current concerns, your strengths, and what you hope to achieve. There's no pressure to share everything at once—you can move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Together, we'll begin developing a personalized treatment plan and discuss the therapeutic approaches that best fit your needs. My goal is for you to leave the session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the journey ahead.
What is your co-pilot approach in therapy?
What I truly believe in is my co-pilot philosophy. At the heart of her practice is a simple but powerful belief: you are the expert of your own life. This approach means that therapy with me is a true partnership. Sessions are collaborative, personalized, and built around your specific goals and experiences. See my blog on 'co-pilot approach' in therapy.
