About
If you've landed here, you're thinking about taking the next step toward inner harmony. That step might feel exciting, like a relief, or completely daunting. You might be wondering: what if this doesn't work, what if I don't connect with the therapist, what if someone finds out? Those thoughts are normal, and they don't have to stop you.
Therapy is collaborative. You get a say in the process, and your feedback shapes how sessions are guided. Research shows that most people who receive psychotherapy experience symptom relief and are better able to function in their lives. The therapeutic alliance is one of the strongest predictors of successful therapy, so if you're not feeling a connection, it's okay to find someone new.
Privacy is protected under the same HIPAA laws that apply to all medical treatment. And if you're wondering whether you should be able to handle this on your own, consider this: working with a professional in a non-judgmental relationship can give you skills and relief that last a lifetime. I'm here when you're ready. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who came to therapy through a winding, meaningful path. Before becoming a therapist, I spent years as a teacher in NYC where I witnessed firsthand the hurdles my students had to navigate just to show up, stay present, and keep going. That experience taught me that inner peace is the foundation for everything else. It's what ultimately led me to this work, and it's what drives my commitment to the therapeutic relationship. I believe that connection — real, genuine connection — is where healing begins.
I take an integrative, client-centered, and strengths-based approach because I believe every person has the capacity for healing and growth within them. I’m committed to empowering individuals to determine their own path while supporting them with tools that foster confidence and resilience. I work with teens, college students, adults, and seniors who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or in need of support and relief from life’s stressors. I specialize in helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, grief, and chronic illness through evidence-based practices that include CBT, CPT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, and somatic-based interventions.

Frequently asked questions
- What is your approach?
- I’ll meet you where you are, and together we’ll work to move in the direction you want to go. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and empowering. I help clients navigate life’s challenges, moving from feeling stuck and overwhelmed towards greater clarity and balance. I’ll encourage you to reflect between sessions, even in small ways, because that’s often where insight deepens and change starts to take place.
- What therapeutic modalities do you use?
- I take an integrative approach drawing from evidence-based practices to meet each client's unique needs. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, and Somatic therapies.
- Can EMDR be done virtually?
- Yes, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) can be done virtually using secure video calls, digital screen tools for eye tracking, or audio or physical tapping methods as well. Research and clinical guidelines support its effectiveness. I was trained virtually by an EMDR International Associate.
