Curious, warm support for anxiety, trauma, and life's harder chapters, through IFS and somatic work.

About

At the heart of my practice lies a simple truth: we are all travelers on life's journey, carrying the weight of our struggles. Despite our unique experiences, we are united by the shared threads of our humanity, pain, grief, and growth, each with the potential for a story of hope. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, grief, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Co-parenting is especially close to my heart because I've walked that road myself.

My approach is trauma-informed and client-centered, drawing on Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Somatic Experiencing (SE). Together, we slow down and get curious about your inner landscape, exploring the parts of you that may be holding onto pain or unhelpful beliefs, and tuning into your body as the vessel of your experience. We'll uncover how your unique internal system works and build self-compassionate understanding that helps you move forward with more clarity and ease.

I hold a MA in counselling and am a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) and a Registered Psychotherapist (qualifying). I am trained through the IFS Institute (Level 1) and am at an intermediate level in Somatic Experiencing with advanced training ongoing. I also bring 20 years of professional experience in community building to this work.

Along my own human journey, I've met kindred spirits whose compassion helped me shed layers of pretense and embrace my authentic self, including the parts that can be difficult to turn toward. That transformation is what inspired me to create a welcoming space where others can find acceptance, healing, and peace amidst life's chaos. I offer in-person and online sessions, with afternoon, early evening, and weekend availability.
