What Are Klarify’s Plans and Prices?
Klarify, an AI assistant for therapists in the US and Canada, sells four self-serve plans, priced monthly and separated by one variable: how many sessions you can run through the AI scribe each month. Seed is free at 10 sessions a month. Sprout ($16 USD) covers 70, Bloom ($32 USD) covers 130, and Forest ($71 USD) removes the cap entirely.

Two things stand out about the shape of this pricing. The free plan is a real plan, not a trial in disguise: 10 sessions a month, with no trial clock attached. And there is no per-session metering. Sessions within your plan’s cap carry no per-use charge, whether they run 30 minutes or the full 3-hour recording limit.
What Do You Get With Klarify?
Every plan buys the same core product: an AI scribe plus Klara, the built-in AI assistant. The scribe takes a session in whatever form you have it. In-person audio, virtual meeting audio, live dictation, handwritten notes, uploaded transcripts, and uploaded audio files all work. The plans differ on session volume, and two features are plan-gated (marked * below). Everything else in this table ships across the product.

How Does Solo vs Clinic Pricing Work?
Solo therapists pick one of the four plans above and pay for exactly one account. Clinics work differently. A clinic account is seat-based, with clinic admin roles for managing the team and clinic-wide settings, including data-retention (auto-delete) policies that apply across every therapist’s sessions.
We don’t publish a flat clinic price because the total depends on how many seats you need. Instead, the clinic pricing calculator gives you a live quote: set your clinician count and it does the arithmetic. The practical rule of thumb: if two or more therapists in the same practice will use Klarify, run the calculator before buying individual plans.
How Does Klarify Pricing Compare to Other AI Note Tools?
Klarify’s session-capped monthly plans sit between two other pricing models on the market: per-session metering (Upheal, Blueprint) and note-capped subscriptions (Mentalyc). At 130 sessions on Bloom for $32 USD, the per-session cost works out to about $0.25. The right comparison depends on your volume, so here is the market as verified on August 18, 2026.

Klarify is fully HIPAA, PHIPA, PIPEDA, Quebec Loi 25, and GDPR compliant, so a practice on either side of the border is covered, Quebec included, and the product is built and secured in Canada. All Klarify data is stored in Canada, always. Among the tools above, Mentalyc states US-based data residency on its own homepage, and Upheal and Blueprint do not publish where your data lives. For Canadian Therapists: What Does Klarify Cost in CAD?
Klarify publishes Canadian pricing. The pricing page on klarify.ca has a currency toggle: switch it to CAD and every plan price displays in Canadian dollars, the same amounts your card is charged. Behind the pricing page, billing runs in USD, CAD, EUR, and GBP, so a cross-border practice is covered whichever currency it bills in.
Apply the same scrutiny to every tool you evaluate. Some vendors publish a “Canadian” price that is just the USD numeral with a C$ in front of it, and others don’t label their currency at all. Ask what the charge on your Canadian card will actually be.
What Happens to Your Session Data?
Pricing pages usually stop at the invoice, but for therapists the data terms are part of the cost. Klarify is fully HIPAA, PHIPA, PIPEDA, Quebec Loi 25, and GDPR compliant, and all of your data is stored in Canada. On top of that sits the policy: “Your session data is yours. We never train on it, never sell it, never share it. Full stop.” Session audio is automatically deleted from storage 14 days after the session, on every plan. Frequently Asked Questions
Does Klarify have a free trial?
Yes. Paid Klarify plans start with a 7-day free trial, and it can be extended by another 7 days to a maximum of 14. If you would rather not start a trial clock at all, the Seed plan is free and includes 10 sessions a month, no upgrade required.
How do I cancel my Klarify subscription?
You are not locked in. Downgrades are scheduled rather than immediate, and that includes moving to the free Seed plan, the usual off-ramp. You keep your paid plan until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and the lower plan takes effect then. Upgrades apply right away. For refund questions, contact info@klarify.ca.
How do seat changes work on a clinic plan?
Clinic accounts are seat-based: the clinic admin manages which therapists occupy seats. Adding a seat mid-cycle bills a prorated charge for the rest of the billing period; removing a seat takes effect at the end of the current period rather than triggering a partial refund. Is Klarify billed in Canadian dollars?

Does Klarify keep my session recordings?
