Collaborative, transformative counselling for BIPOC communities and beyond, where your story is heard without fear or judgment.

About

I believe counselling is a lot like a caterpillar becoming a butterfly: it's challenging, it's rewarding, and it leads somewhere genuinely new. At Metamorphose Counselling, I work collaboratively with individuals, couples, and families to create a safe space where you can share your story without fear or judgment. I hear you, and I could see why the path to transformation can feel overwhelming. That's exactly why we do this work together.

My practice is rooted in a commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging. As a Black-owned and operated business, I'm especially passionate about supporting the BIPOC community, including people navigating the unique emotional weight of being a person of colour, a child of immigrants, or someone facing racism and workplace discrimination. I bring specific tools and frameworks to help you protect yourself, ask for what you need, and feel worthy doing it.

I work with trauma, anxiety, relational issues, and life and career transitions, drawing on approaches like CBT, solution-focused therapy, narrative therapy, attachment theory, Gottman Method, Bowen Family Systems, DBT-informed emotional regulation, and trauma-informed care. Whether we're meeting virtually or walking in the park, I adapt to what works best for you. I also offer low-cost counselling through qualifying counsellors to make sure support is accessible to everyone who needs it.

My style is warm, direct, and conversational. I'll validate what you're going through, gently challenge the patterns that aren't serving you, and always ask, 'What do you think?' because your perspective drives this process. If you're ready to grow, I'm here for it.
