Counselling that helps you carry life's challenges in a different way, and with more clarity.

About

I'm glad you're here. It usually means you want something different, or something is missing, and you're wise enough to know you don't have to do this alone. Many misconceptions exist about counselling: it doesn't mean you're 'crazy,' it's not a sign of weakness, and you don't have to talk about your past or blame everything on your mother. It takes courage to reach out, and that courage matters.

The process of counselling elicits insights. If you're interested in seeing situations in a different light, shifting how you feel, or better tolerating what can't be changed, you've come to the right place. Problems don't disappear, but they start to feel more manageable. You gain a different awareness of yourself, connecting with inner resources and inherent strengths, and you learn that what you're feeling and thinking isn't unreasonable given what you're going through.

I work in collaboration with my clients. You lead the way and set the pace. I work with your particular goals and preferences, and I invite your feedback throughout our work together to make sure we stay on track and that you're getting what you need. My hope is to help you start feeling better sooner.

I provide mental health and addictions counselling in Langley, serving Pitt Meadows, Maple Ridge, Port Kells, Cloverdale, Aldergrove, Abbotsford, Surrey, the Fraser Valley, and the greater Vancouver region. Remote options are also available, so location is no longer a barrier to getting the support you're looking for.
