Healing anxiety, trauma, and self-worth through compassion, curiosity, and your own inner strength.
About
Living with anxiety, depression, low self-worth, stress, or trauma can quietly shape how you see yourself and your relationships. You might find yourself overthinking, struggling with self-doubt, or feeling overwhelmed by emotions you can't quite name. Often, these patterns trace back to early-life experiences, attachment wounds, or unmet emotional needs, and that makes complete sense. My professional journey began supporting children with ASD and ADHD, where I developed a deep understanding of emotional development, attachment, and the lasting impact of early experiences. I now work with adults to explore how those experiences continue to shape emotional and relational patterns in the present.
I support adults navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, emotional overwhelm, relationship difficulties, and self-esteem concerns. My approach is trauma-informed and client-centred, drawing on EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), inner child work, psychodynamic therapy, and Narrative Therapy. Together, we work to understand the protective parts of you that developed for good reasons, heal emotional wounds, and reconnect you with your own inner strength. I tailor each session to your unique needs, because no two people's experiences are the same.
A lot of what I see in my work comes down to this: the ways we learned to protect ourselves early in life can quietly run the show in our adult relationships. Whether that looks like emotional guardedness, self-blame, fear of rejection, or sensitivity you've been told is a weakness, I want you to know those responses are understandable. We work together to recognize them, understand where they came from, and gently shift them, at your own pace.
Reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, especially when you've been carrying pain on your own. Whatever brings you to therapy, your experiences deserve compassion and understanding. I offer a warm, non-judgmental space where you can be yourself, explore your inner world, and move toward healing and meaningful change. I offer in-person sessions in Vancouver and virtual therapy for clients across Canada. Feel free to reach out for a free 15-minute consultation.
