About
Hi! I am so glad you are here. I believe therapy works best when you feel like you're sitting with another human who is genuinely curious about your experience and deeply invested in your well-being. I approach counselling from a place of connection, compassion, and curiosity, and I strive to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, exploring neurodiversity, or healing from past experiences, I would be honoured to walk alongside you.
As a relational therapist, I trust that the connection we build together is one of the most important parts of the process. In our work together, you may laugh, cry, challenge old patterns, learn practical skills, and celebrate meaningful victories, both big and small. Healing can be hard work, but there is real room for joy, humour, and self-compassion along the way.
My approach is collaborative, integrative, and tailored to you. I draw from CBT, person-centred, emotion-focused, narrative, and somatic practices, honouring the connection between mind, body, and nervous system. I often start with CBT to help you understand how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours connect, then we follow what feels most meaningful and authentic for your unique experience.
Alongside my master's in counselling and bachelor's degree in psychology, my 13 years of teaching yoga have deepened my understanding of the mind-body connection and the healing potential of breathwork, mindfulness, and movement. At the heart of my practice is a simple belief: you already possess incredible strengths and wisdom. Sometimes we just need support, connection, and a compassionate guide to help us rediscover them.
