Helping you understand your story, break free from what's holding you back, and move forward with clarity.
About
You may feel overwhelmed, stuck in your thoughts, or weighed down by anxiety that won't let up. Maybe something recent has shaken things up, or something from the past keeps resurfacing, and you're ready to deal with it. I'm curious about what's beneath the surface, and in our work together, we go beyond the obvious. We break things down in a clear, structured way so you can understand what's happening and start moving forward. Clients value the direction, consistency, and accountability in our sessions.
Working with me means re-authoring your story, reshaping how you see your experiences, bringing clarity to what you've been through, and using it as a source of strength. I draw on narrative therapy, cognitive-behavioral strategies, Internal Family Systems, and trauma-focused approaches to help you examine and reframe thought and emotional patterns. Together, we move from feeling stuck in the past to understanding it in a way that actually supports where you're going next.
I am a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor with 10 years of experience in high-risk youth support, medical response, and trauma work. I also serve as a Fire Department Chaplain with the British Columbia Association of Fire Chaplains and am pursuing a BA in Bible Studies. I specialize in faith-based support for Christians, trauma and PTSD, and anxiety, and I see individuals and couples.
Finding a counsellor you can trust and feel a connection with is crucial. If you're reading this, I'd love to offer a free 15-minute consultation to see if we're a good match. I offer sessions in-person (on the world's softest sofa), online via Zoom, or by phone, with availability on weekday mornings and evenings. If you're ready for real change, I'm here to support you.
