About

Have you ever understood exactly why you do something and still couldn't stop doing it? That gap between knowing and changing is where I love to work.

I'm a psychotherapist offering online therapy to adults across Ontario. I help people with anxiety, OCD, phobias, depression, and life transitions, along with that frustrating stuck feeling when motivation refuses to cooperate. For OCD and anxiety, I use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the leading evidence-based approach, alongside CBT, ACT, and mindfulness-based tools.

A lot of our work comes down to tolerating uncertainty, stepping out of unproductive thought spirals, and getting more comfortable with discomfort so it stops running the show. We get curious about the patterns that keep showing up and build practical skills you can use in day-to-day life. I work collaboratively, so it feels like joint exploration rather than me handing you a prescription.

I came to this work after years in high-pressure corporate environments, making the midlife decision to go back to school for psychology. Both worlds show up in my sessions: real-life experience of stress and pressure, alongside clinical training in how the mind works. When you understand why you react the way you do, you get more say in what happens next.

Sessions are virtual, so you can get support from anywhere in Ontario. If you're not sure where to start, a free consultation is a good first step. You don't need to have it all figured out before we talk.

Frequently asked questions

What does a first session with you look like?
Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and see whether we're a good fit. I'll ask about what's bringing you to therapy, what you've already tried, and what you'd like to be different. You're welcome to share at your own pace, and there's no pressure to have everything figured out. We'll also talk about how online therapy works, confidentiality, and what next steps might look like, whether that's ERP for anxiety or OCD, or support through a mid-life transition. Most people leave the first session feeling heard and clearer about the path forward.
What is ERP, and how does it help with OCD and anxiety?
Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) is the leading evidence-based treatment for OCD, and it is also effective for phobias and many forms of anxiety. Together, we gradually and gently approach the thoughts and situations you've been avoiding, while you practise not giving in to compulsions or safety behaviours. Over time, your brain learns that you can handle uncertainty, and the anxiety loses its grip.
3. Can therapy help with mid-life stress and big life changes?
Absolutely. Mid-life often brings career shifts, empty nests, aging parents, health changes, or a quiet sense that something needs to change. Therapy gives you space to sort through what matters now, ease the stress of transition, and move forward with more clarity and confidence. As someone who changed careers in mid-life myself, I understand how unsettling and hopeful these chapters can be.
