Clinical Social Worker
Telehealth only: North Carolina
Bilingual therapy for women, caregivers, and the Latinx community. You don't have to carry this alone.
About
Are you feeling like life has become 'too much'? Like there's nowhere to turn? I get it, and I want to help you carry some of that weight. I'm a bilingual (Spanish/English) licensed clinical social worker based in North Carolina, and I work with women, young adults, and caregivers who are navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and the kind of stress that builds up quietly until it isn't quiet anymore. I feel a deep connection to the Hispanic and Latinx community, and I'm proud to offer therapy in both English and Spanish.
My approach is person-centered and strengths-based, which means I start with you, not a checklist. I believe every client brings real strengths into the room, and my job is to help you find and use them. I'm trained in EMDR and IFS-informed, and I draw on CBT, CPT, DBT skills, mindfulness, and narrative approaches depending on what fits you best. Whether we're working through trauma, building coping skills, or just figuring out what you actually want, we do it together.
Before becoming a therapist, I was a teacher and school administrator. I went back to graduate school after retiring because I wanted to keep showing up for people in a meaningful way. That background shapes how I work: I'm direct, warm, and I'll gently challenge you when it serves you. I believe therapy should feel like a real conversation, not a lecture. You'll always know where I stand, and I'll always make space for where you stand too.
I offer telehealth in North Carolina, South Carolina, Minnesota, and Florida. I accept several major insurance plans and also offer a sliding scale for those who need it. If you're ready to take that first step, I'd be honored to walk by your side.
