About

I'm Kevin Klin, a registered psychotherapist (Qualifying) based in Barry's Bay and Pembroke, Ontario. I work with adults, older teens, and couples who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just tired of spinning in the same patterns. My approach is practical and goal-oriented, I'm not here to nod along indefinitely. I want to help you actually understand what's getting in the way and take real steps forward.

I draw on CBT, solution-focused work, IFS, somatic and body-focused approaches, narrative therapy, and attachment theory, depending on what fits you. A lot of what we do together involves slowing down enough to notice what's happening in your body, not just your head. Anxiety lives in the future, depression pulls toward the past, and the work is often about finding your way back to the present. I use accessible frameworks and real-world tools, things you can actually use between sessions.

I work with people navigating anxiety, stress and burnout, relationship strain, life transitions, grief, and identity shifts. I also support clients dealing with family dynamics, boundary-setting, and the exhaustion that comes from being the person who holds everything together. Sessions are available in person at my offices in Barry's Bay and Pembroke, and by secure video across Ontario.

My style is warm, direct, and collaborative. I ask permission before offering perspectives, I check in rather than assume, and I take the work seriously without making it feel heavy. If you're ready to move, I'm here for it.
