The path to enlightenment travels through the shadowlands, I will walk with you.

About

We often find ourselves caught in relationship patterns we didn't choose and can't quite explain — giving too much, doubting our own perceptions, feeling responsible for things that were never ours to carry. These patterns rarely appear out of nowhere. They tend to form early, as ways of staying safe or needed, and they can quietly shape how we love, trust, and see ourselves for years afterward.

Depth therapy isn't about arriving with answers. It's about being willing to explore, together, what's beneath these patterns — and what they were once trying to protect. I think of myself less as a guide and more as a seasoned travelling companion: someone who won't disappear when things get uncomfortable, and who has learned not to fear the parts of you that feel exiled or unwanted.

Together, we build safety and steadiness first, then begin to trace the patterns — in relationships, in self-image, in the stories we've come to believe about our own worth. Slowly, what once felt shameful or confusing starts to make sense. The goal isn't a fixed destination, but a surer, more trusting way of relating to yourself and others.

If you're curious about the roots of these patterns, and ready to look at them without judgment, I'd be glad to walk with you.

Frequently asked questions

What does a first session with you look like?
I offer a free introductory session - which is, essentially, just a conversation. It's an opportunity for you to ask any questions, to get a sense of how I work, and decide it feels like a good match.
Do you offer evening or weekend appointments?
Yes. My regular office hours are 12 - 8pm M-F. I have evening appointment available through the week.
How quickly can I book a first appointment?
Depending on both of our schedules, we can usually find time for a first visit within a couple of days to a week.
What should I do if I'm not sure therapy is right for me?
I suggest you simply start by booking an introductory session. It's not a commitment and it's the best way to get the lay of the land, get a sense of how the therapist works, and a feel for what sessions will be like. From there you can decide whether it feels right for you.
What's your approach to working with Anxiety?
Anxiety is often an indication that we are conflicted about something, even if it's unconscious. Sometimes different parts of ourselves have competing agendas - I help clients discover these hidden aspects of themselves, and the beliefs or needs driving them. Bringing our inner world into awareness can help us feel better able to make informed choices in our outer world. This, in itself, is usually accompanied by a sense of empowerment, and also relief.
Who do you typically work best with?
Anyone who is curious about their inner world and willing to uncover the depths and wonders to be found there.
