Overwhelmed by everything you carry, yet find it hard to ask for help? You don't have to figure it all out alone.
About
Hi there! Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when you're navigating difficult emotions, changing relationships, or expectations that feel hard to meet. Maybe you're feeling anxious about the future, struggling with a recent loss, finding it difficult to make space for your own needs, or simply feeling stuck without knowing why. You may be looking for a place to make sense of what's happening, gain a better understanding of yourself, and figure out what comes next.
As a humanistic, person-centred counsellor, I aim to create a warm, supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and accepted without judgment. You don't have to have everything figured out or know where to begin. Together, we'll explore what's bringing you to counselling, make sense of difficult emotions, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationships.
I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating a range of challenges, including anxiety, low mood, grief and loss, stress and burnout, relationship and family difficulties, and life transitions. Whether you're struggling with difficult emotions, finding it hard to set boundaries, working through a challenging experience, or seeking support for your child, counselling can offer an opportunity to explore what's going on and find a way forward.
My approach is individualized and integrative, drawing on different therapeutic perspectives to support your unique needs and goals. Depending on what feels helpful, we might explore recurring patterns, relationships, and past experiences while also developing practical strategies for everyday life. This may include grounding techniques, emotional regulation, communicating your needs, and setting boundaries.
You don't have to navigate everything on your own. We'll work collaboratively, at a pace that feels comfortable for you, to find an approach that feels meaningful and helpful.

Frequently asked questions
- What does a first session with you look like?
- Our first session begins with informed consent, where we'll review the counselling process, your rights as a client, confidentiality and its limitations, and what you can expect from working together. I'll also explain my approach to counselling and make space for any questions you may have. From there, we'll begin exploring what's bringing you to counselling, what you'd like support with, and what you hope to gain from our work together. There's no pressure to share everything at once or have all the answers. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, understand what matters most to you, and begin building a collaborative therapeutic relationship at a pace that feels right for you.
- What should I do if I'm not sure therapy is right for me?
- It's okay to feel unsure about starting counselling. You don't need to have everything figured out or know exactly what you want to work on before reaching out. Counselling can be an opportunity to explore what you're experiencing, gain a better understanding of yourself, and consider what kind of support might be helpful. We can take things at your pace, and you can ask questions along the way to help you decide whether counselling feels like the right fit for you.
