Bright, capable, and suddenly struggling? I help teen girls and young women with ADHD and anxiety find their footing.

About

She's bright and capable, so why has everything suddenly gotten so hard? I work with teen girls and young women with ADHD and anxiety, at the transitions where the structure that used to hold them falls away: starting high school, leaving for college, or the wide-open years after. The assignment's late even when she knew it cold, the basics feel impossibly heavy, and she's been masking so well that no one sees her struggling. Underneath is the sense that she's carrying it all alone. Sometimes it's anxiety, sometimes an ADHD (or quietly autistic) brain that never got the right support. You don't need a diagnosis to begin.

My style is warm, grounded, and direct. Calm enough to settle a nervous system, honest enough to gently challenge. I draw from ACT, IFS, CBT, and motivational interviewing, woven with somatic and yoga-based practices. We work on two levels: practical tools for overwhelm and transitions, and body-based skills that steady an anxious or neurodivergent nervous system. I'm a certified yoga instructor, and I bring simple movement and breath tools into the work because the body often knows what the mind is still figuring out.

Most of my clients are girls and young women who masked for years and 'seemed fine' until a transition pulled the ground out. We ease the anxiety and build the executive-function tools, starting, finishing, following through, without the shame. I also work with the harsh self-rules that pile up over time, the ones that say you only deserve support if you've earned it, or that struggling means something is wrong with you. It doesn't.

I see clients fully online across California. Sessions are $205, and I'm out-of-network with superbills available for possible reimbursement. Whether you're a parent worried about your daughter or a young woman tired of carrying it all alone, reach out for a free 15-minute consultation and we'll see if it's a fit.
