Affordable, accessible counselling where you set the pace and I meet you there.
About
I believe you're the only true expert of your own life, and I start every therapeutic relationship from that place. My role is to offer tools, guidance, and a grounded, empathetic space where you feel genuinely seen and heard. Whether you're navigating anxiety, processing something painful, or just trying to be a little kinder to yourself, I work at your pace and your comfort level. And if financial concerns are holding you back from reaching out, please don't let them. I will never turn anyone away for that reason.
As an Associate Therapist working under clinical supervision, I use an integrative approach rooted in third-wave Cognitive Behavioural Therapies, including ACT, DBT, and mindfulness-based work, alongside Person-Centered values drawn from Carl Rogers. In practice, that means I'm transparent about my clinical thinking, I'll share what I'm noticing and ask what resonates, and I'll challenge you when it's useful while always checking in about where you're at.
Some of the work I do involves helping people untangle self-judgment from self-acceptance, exploring how the body holds distress, and finding ways to process experiences that haven't fully been worked through yet. I use techniques like journaling, letter-writing, and cognitive defusion to help externalize what feels stuck. I'm comfortable sitting with complexity and silence, and I try to make the therapeutic process feel collaborative rather than something done to you.
Reaching out is often the hardest part. I offer a free 15-minute consultation so we can get a sense of whether working together feels right. Sessions are available online at $30, with a sliding scale for those who need it.
