Moving toward what matters, instead of away from what scares you. Serving clients in Florida, Ontario, and PsyPact States
About
I’m a licensed psychologist practicing in Ontario, Florida, and across PsyPact states. And here’s what I’ve learned: therapy works best when it stops feeling like therapy and starts feeling like a real conversation.
So that’s where we’ll start. I’m warm, I’m direct, and I’ll meet you where you are. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, relationship struggles, trauma, or just a sense that something needs to shift—I’ll help you figure out what’s getting in the way, and we’ll work through it together.
A lot of what I do is help people understand the patterns that keep them stuck. Avoidance, for example, is one of the most persistent patterns I see. The more we sidestep the things that scare us, the bigger they grow. I use evidence-based approaches—including CBT, ACT, Gottman Method, EFT, mindfulness, clinical hypnotherapy, and humanistic/existential therapy—to help you build real resilience and create lasting change, not just temporary relief.
I also work with couples, with people navigating life transitions, and with clients exploring questions around sexuality and intimacy. My approach is non-judgmental and normalizing. If something feels shameful or hard to say out loud, that’s usually exactly where the most meaningful work happens.
I have a PhD in psychology and trained at various hospitals such as the Queensway Carleton Hospital in Ottawa and the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal. I bring both rigorous clinical training and my own life experience into the room—including an awareness of cultural and intergenerational dynamics that shape who we are. Because those things matter.
Beyond the clinical work, I’m someone who values contemplation and presence. I find that slowing down and paying attention—whether in a therapy session or in daily life—is where real understanding begins.
If you’re ready to start, I’d love to hear what’s going on for you.

Frequently asked questions
- What types of therapy do you offer?
- I offer individual therapy, couples therapy, and psychological assessment. My approach is integrative and evidence-based, drawing on a range of modalities — including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), the Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Mindfulness, Clinical Hypnotherapy, and Humanistic/Existential Therapy — tailored to your unique needs and goals.
- Where are you licensed to practice?
- I work with clients virtually across Ontario, Canada, as well as in Florida and all PsyPact-participating states in the USA. Wherever you're located, if you're in one of these regions, we can work together.
- Are sessions in-person or virtual?
- All sessions are conducted virtually via a secure, confidential video platform. This means you can access quality psychological care from the comfort of your own home — no commute, no waiting room, just support when and where you need it.
- Do you offer psychological assessments?
- Yes. In addition to therapy, I offer comprehensive psychological assessments for a range of concerns, including WSIB (Workplace Safety and Insurance Board) assessments. Assessments can help clarify a diagnosis, inform treatment planning, or provide documentation for workplace or insurance purposes. Feel free to reach out to discuss whether an assessment is right for your situation.
- What can I expect in my first session?
- Your first session is a chance for us to genuinely connect. We'll talk about what's brought you in, explore your background — including your cultural heritage and the experiences that have shaped you — and begin mapping out a path forward together. I'm committed to understanding and respecting who you are as a whole person. There's no pressure — the pace is always guided by what feels right for you.
- How long does therapy take?
- It depends on your goals and what you're working through. Some people find meaningful progress in a focused short-term course of sessions; others benefit from longer-term support. We'll check in regularly and adjust the plan as we go — you're always part of that conversation.
