Helping those that struggle with overthinking discover mental clarity and ease
About
I work with adults who find themselves caught in overthinking, worry, perfectionism, people-pleasing, and the pressure to get things right. You may replay conversations, question your decisions, worry about disappointing others, or feel responsible for keeping everything under control. Although these patterns may have helped you avoid mistakes, prepare for what could go wrong, or protect your relationships, over time they can leave you feeling exhausted, disconnected from yourself, and unable to fully relax or enjoy the present moment.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. Together we will explore not only what you are struggling with, but also how these patterns developed and what they may have been trying to do for you. Therapy is not about getting rid of your thoughts or changing who you are. It is about understanding your inner experience, recognizing the needs beneath your reactions, and developing a different relationship with the thoughts and expectations that have been directing your life.
As therapy progresses, you can expect to build greater self-trust and self-compassion, feel more confident making decisions, and become better able to listen to what you need. My goal is to help you respond to life with greater intention, rather than automatically reacting from worry, pressure, or the need to protect yourself. Over time, this can create more clarity, connection, presence, and ease in your life.

Frequently asked questions
- What's your approach to working with Anxiety?
- Rather than treating anxiety as something that is wrong with you or needs to be eliminated, I approach anxiety with curiosity. Anxiety often develops as a way of anticipating problems, avoiding mistakes, maintaining control, or protecting yourself from disappointment. These patterns may once have been helpful; however, they can eventually leave you caught in overthinking, self-doubt, and constant pressure. Together, we will explore what your anxiety is trying to protect you from, recognize the needs beneath it, and help you respond differently when it shows up. Therapy can help you develop a more compassionate relationship with your mind, feel more confident making decisions, and trust yourself to handle difficult thoughts, feelings, and situations. Over time, you can feel less directed by anxiety and more able to live with clarity, intention, and presence.
- How quickly can I book a first appointment?
- You can begin by booking a free 20-minute consultation through my online booking page. During the consultation, we can briefly discuss what is bringing you to therapy, what you are hoping for support with, and whether my approach feels like a good fit for you. If you would like to move forward, we can then look at my current availability and schedule your first therapy appointment. Appointment availability can vary, but I will let you know what options are available so you can decide what works best for you.
- Who do you typically work best with?
- I work best with adults who tend to overthink, put a lot of pressure on themselves, and feel responsible for getting things right. You may replay conversations, question your decisions, worry about disappointing others, or find it difficult to relax when there is always something else your mind says you should do or figure out. You might appear capable and put together while privately feeling anxious, exhausted, or disconnected from yourself. The people I work with are often thoughtful and self-aware, but find that understanding their patterns has not always been enough to change them. They are interested in exploring why these patterns developed and learning how to respond to themselves differently. My approach may be a good fit if you want to build greater self-trust and self-compassion, listen more closely to your needs, and feel more present and connected in your life.
