When your child's emotions spill over into big meltdowns, angry outbursts, or long stretches of shutting down, it can feel overwhelming to know what to do. Maybe you've seen your child struggle with anxiety at school, act aggressively at home, or seem far away after a difficult experience. You want to understand what's going on beneath the behavior, and you want your child to have safe ways to manage feelings, reconnect, and heal.

I specialize in helping children ages 3 to 12 who face trauma, emotional or behavioral dysregulation, aggression, or dissociation. My approach is nondirective, meaning I follow your child's lead. I observe how they play, reflect what I notice, and respond with calm, nonjudgmental guidance. Over time, themes emerge in their play that tell me what they need emotionally, and I use that to understand and support them more fully. I've completed advanced training in play therapy, trauma, and dissociation since earning my Master's in Clinical Social Work, and I've been supporting children and families since 2011.

I also schedule regular parent sessions to keep you informed on your child's progress and help you find ways to support their growth outside of therapy. You are a vital part of this work, and you deserve respect and support along the way.
