Therapy tailored to how your brain works, so you feel seen, grounded, and ready to move forward.
About
Do you struggle with anxiety, depression, ADHD, or a loss of sense of self that affects your day-to-day life and relationships? Do you feel exhausted and overwhelmed by just getting through the day? I believe there is hope, and I'd love to help you find it. At Exhale Mental Health, my approach is rooted in therapy tailored to how your brain works. You can expect warmth, clear structure, and a pace that works for you. I'm committed to meeting you exactly where you are.
I work with people navigating anxiety, trauma, ADHD, depression, and the kind of deep identity questions that can leave you feeling detached. Whether that means untangling old patterns, learning to unhook from unhelpful stories your brain keeps broadcasting, or building practical strategies to stay grounded during emotional storms, I bring both genuine curiosity and real structure to the work. I wonder often about what's underneath the struggle, and I'll always check whether what I'm noticing actually resonates with you.
My practice draws on a range of approaches because no single framework fits every person. I work with preteens, teens, adults, and older adults, seeing individuals and families. I offer sessions in both English and French, in person at my cozy private office in Stouffville or securely online.
For more than 20 years I've created calm, safe spaces where you feel seen and leave with strategies that actually work. No judgment. No one-size-fits-all. Book your free 20-minute consultation and let's get started.

Frequently asked questions
- What does a first session with you look like?
- Think of our first meeting as a comfortable, no-pressure conversation. We’ll talk about what your going through, what you’re hoping for, and get a feel for whether we’re a good match. There are no expectations, it’s simply a quiet space for you to exhale and be heard.
- What's does brain centered therapy mean for me?
- It means you never have to mask, squeeze yourself into someone else’s mold, or explain why standard advice hasn't worked for you. I know that every brain is wired differently and there is zero interest here in fixing how you naturally function. Instead, we work together to understand you and build real-life strategies that actually fit who you are.
- How do I know if therapy is actually working?
- Progress rarely looks like a straight line. Sometimes it starts with feeling a bit lighter after an hour. Other times, it looks like taking a breath before reacting, giving yourself some grace on a rough day, or noticing a quiet sense of hope returning. We’ll regularly check in together to make sure our work feels meaningful, useful, and aligned with what you need.
- Who do you typically work best with?
- I tend to click with people who feel exhausted from trying to squeeze into standard expectations. That includes people whose brains take the world in differently, worn-out caregivers who may feel like they're walking on eggshells at home, and deep processors who feel everything intensely. If you’re craving a space where you don’t have to mask, explain away your quirks, or perform just to be understood, you’ll likely feel right at home here.
- What's your approach to working with Anxiety?
- Often, anxiety is your brain's way of trying to protect you, even when it’s stuck on overdrive. We focus on understanding what your body and brain are reacting to, finding the things that calm your nervous system and practical ways to turn down the volume on your overwhelm so you can catch your breath again.
