I'm Candace, a licensed mental health counselor specializing in trauma and Complex PTSD. My work centers on helping people who've been through long-term, relational, or medical trauma find their footing again. I use EMDR, attachment-based approaches, somatic awareness, and HeartMath, and I'm always learning so I can meet you where you actually are, not where a textbook says you should be.

My style is warm and direct. I'll follow your lead, and I'll also gently push when I notice you circling something important. I believe healing starts with being truly seen and heard, and I take your experiences seriously without asking you to justify them. Whether we're doing deep EMDR reprocessing or just untangling what happened in a hard week, the goal is the same: helping you move through life without carrying the full weight of the past.

I also offer specialized consultation for clinicians working with CPTSD and EMDR. If you're navigating complex trauma presentations in your own practice, I provide a collaborative space to sharpen your case conceptualization, strengthen your fidelity to EMDR protocols, and integrate polyvagal-informed and somatic strategies into your work.
