Grief, autism, and life transitions: you don't have to carry it alone.

About

You might be carrying something heavy: a new diagnosis, a loss that doesn't make sense yet, or the quiet exhaustion of navigating a world that doesn't always feel built for you. Maybe you're tired of adapting, explaining, or figuring it out on your own. Making sense of this takes time, and you don't have to do it alone.

I work with individuals who are feeling disconnected from themselves, overwhelmed by change, or unsure how to carry grief that doesn't seem to lighten. This often includes helping people process loss, adjust to new realities, and rebuild a sense of steadiness and self-trust. I work alongside clients facing autism, ADHD, and caregiver challenges, walking through grief, anxiety, and hard transitions side by side.

Drawing on Narrative Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, I believe the stories told by, to, and about us shape our beliefs about ourselves. Together, we'll look at where these stories came from, how they've shaped you, and what it might look like to shift the ones that no longer fit. My approach is integrative and trauma-informed, and I incorporate music therapy when it's helpful, always grounding our work in what feels authentic and empowering to you.

Reaching out takes real courage, especially when things feel heavy or uncertain. You can expect me to meet you with warmth, gentle guidance, and authentic connection. You bring knowledge of your life; I bring knowledge of counselling, and together we shape therapy in a way that fits you.
