Helping you slow down, identify patterns, and create meaningful, lasting change.

About

I understand what it feels like to reach out for help. From the moment you realize something needs to change, to sorting through therapist profiles, to finally making that first call, it can start to feel more like another overwhelming task than an opportunity for growth. If you've made it to this page, you've probably already spent a lot of time looking, so let me tell you a bit about me. The line between who I am as a person and who I am as a therapist is pretty thin. At the heart of both is my love for authentic connection.

I value relationships where people can be honest, vulnerable, and talk about the things that really matter. So when I ask, 'How are you doing?' I truly want the honest, unfiltered answer. Much of my work involves slowing down to process emotions, identify patterns, and explore how experiences from your past show up in your present relationships and daily life. I believe there's often something important waiting just beneath the surface, and I find meaning in helping you get there.

My focus isn't on telling you how to live your life. It's on helping you better understand yourself, identify what matters most to you, and create meaningful, lasting change. I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches, including CBT, emotionally focused therapy, and psychodynamic concepts, tailoring each session to your specific needs and the strengths you already bring. Within the first several sessions, we'll build a treatment plan and goals together so you get what you actually need.

I have 10 years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families across in-home, group, and telehealth settings. I'm licensed in North Carolina and offer telehealth to clients anywhere in the state. I specialize in anxiety, depression, stress, and relationship issues, and I'm in-network with Aetna and UnitedHealthcare.
