Dance/Movement, and talk therapy to help you discover new ways to move through life.

About

I've explored many roles in the last 10+ years working in school, community, inpatient, and outpatient settings. I enjoy working with people of all ages, and I recently found a passion for supporting new mothers navigating postpartum challenges and parenting. I love bringing my training as a dance/movement therapist into sessions, and I'm equally comfortable being practical and helping clients accomplish their goals through direct skills teaching.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Dance/Movement Therapist with over 10 years in the mental health field as a recovery specialist, therapist, and clinical supervisor. I bring an eclectic approach to my practice, incorporating skills teaching, talk-therapy based interventions, creative arts, play, and movement exploration. I have experience implementing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

I know it can be challenging to take that first step of asking for help. Whether you are looking for more traditional talk-based therapies or are interested in creative means of self-exploration and communication, I'm excited to offer my support. If old patterns have not been serving you, let's start the journey of discovering new ways to 'move through life.' As I like to say: 'You know what you learn, and you learn what you're taught,' so let's explore some new perspectives and tools together.
