I believe you already carry inside you everything you need to heal and grow. My role is to help you find your way back to that. I work with adults who are feeling the weight of stress and trauma, whether from childhood or more recent experiences, and who are ready to explore those experiences in a warm, supportive space. Together, we slow down and look at what's happening inside, not just what's happening around you.

A lot of what I do is help people notice patterns. How did you learn to cope? What's been adaptive, and what's gotten in the way? Memories and experiences can get stuck in the body and keep showing up out of context, affecting how you feel, how you relate to others, and how you see yourself. I draw on somatic, narrative, and emotion-focused approaches to help you understand and release what's been held for too long.

I have experience working with childhood trauma, relational trauma, attachment, grief, identity, racial and immigrant identity, self-esteem, anger, and emotion regulation. I'm particularly interested in the relationship you have with yourself, and how that shapes everything else. Sessions feel collaborative and conversational. I'll ask questions, reflect back what I'm hearing, and follow your lead as we figure out what you need.
