Helping you move from stuck and overwhelmed to grounded, clear, and ready for what's next.

About

Adults often come to me during difficult transitions, carrying grief and loss, chronic health concerns, caregiver stress, anxiety, depression, or trauma. Many arrive feeling overwhelmed or stuck, unsure where to even begin. I offer a warm, compassionate space to explore what you're carrying, understand the patterns keeping you there, and work together toward something that feels more like you.

My trauma-informed practice blends Somatic Experiencing, Narrative Therapy, and CBT. I work with the body as much as the mind, helping you notice what emotions feel like physically, expand your emotional vocabulary, and recognize your nervous system's early warning signs. Whether we're using a window of tolerance diagram, an emotion wheel, or a simple grounding exercise, I bring concrete tools into every session so you leave with something you can actually use.

I have over 28 years of experience working with people in therapeutic settings and hold a Masters of Social Work from Dalhousie University. I am a certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) and am licensed and in good standing with the OCSWSSW in Ontario. I am an approved provider for VAC, DND, PCVRS, and Medavie Blue Cross.

I offer both in-person and virtual sessions, with a flexible schedule so we can find times that work for you. If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready for support, reach out for a free 15-minute introductory call. We can explore what you need and figure out together whether this is the right fit.
