About

From working in shelter and crisis centre environments, I have had the opportunity to support a diverse range of individuals with some of their biggest challenges. What I learned from these unique individuals is that no one is immune to the stress of life, and everyone can benefit from support to address the stress. I'm here to offer that support and let you know that you don't have to face these challenges alone.

The support that I offer is person-centred, meaning that you will be the expert of your own situation and I will be the aid to your success. Whether your success means reducing your anxiety, alleviating your depression, processing trauma, or coping with cravings and urges, I will help you determine a plan to manage these experiences.

Some of the methods that I use when providing support include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Strengths-Based approaches, Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and I tend to weave in mindfulness practices readily. Together, we will determine which method suits you best, and we will go at a pace that feels comfortable to you; rushing the process is not the aim. Using these methods, we can determine how best to tackle your challenges and build your resiliency; I believe that you have the skills, they just need to be brought to the surface.
