About

Hi, I'm Alisa. I've been a teacher, and I'm a military spouse, so I know how easily your own needs slide to the bottom of the list. Burnout - been there. Putting off my own well-being - done that too. Life still gets messy, but what changed things for me was having support and practical strategies to lean on.

My practice focuses on the symptoms and the root causes of anxiety, burnout, and ADHD. I work with adults and with children, one-on-one, in a friendly and non-judgmental space where you can put down whatever you've been carrying and start making yourself a priority again. If therapy feels unfamiliar or a little intimidating, that's alright. Come as you are and we'll work it out together.

In sessions I use a person-centred and positive psychology approach, drawing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Narrative Therapy depending on what suits you. I might send you off with a bit of homework now and then, the teacher in me can't help it, but it's always there to keep momentum going between visits.

I see clients virtually across Canada and in person in Petawawa, Ontario, and I work with WSIB, Veterans Affairs Canada, and CAF Blue Cross clients alongside private and insured care.
